We that didn't last long! I was TRYING to cut out cheese from our family diet, but I looked through The Cleaner Plate Club book last night as I was making out my menu/grocery list for the week and I ended up buying a lot of cheese. But the recipes look so good! And many of them have greens that I've been trying to get my kids to eat (well, kid. The younger two do pretty well with greens.)
Now that I've looked through the book I realize I was a little confused on what it really was. It's pretty much a recipe book, with lots of interesting facts and data mixed in. I was under the impression that it was going to be a book you sit down to read. There is a lot of reading, but there are also tons of recipes. I'm excited to try them this week. I guess I'll have to start cutting down on cheese next week. I didn't buy yogurt for the kids this week though. That's a start, right?
